To our fellow Reflexologists and Students:
The past 10 years of teaching reflexology have been both a blessing and an
honor. We have certified hundreds of students through our Natural Selections
Reflexology School. We worked hard to set an above average standard in
Reflexology education. This has made a big difference in many lives throughout
the nation, as well as Wisconsin. The Reflexology School has changed our lives
because of those we have met and trained/certified. We know it has changed many
students, certificants, and now our friends lives as well. That in itself will
never change.
However, it is not without regret that the decision to discontinue offering
Reflexology from our school was easy. But all good things come to an end. Since
obtaining a second Doctorate in Natural Health, Jay has many new opportunities
and many demands on his time. The time requires international direction and
bigger use of his time than what he has available. It equates to less time that
jay has to devote to Reflexology. Jay will no longer be offering Reflexology
instruction effective immediately so he has more time to devote to consultations
in holistic health and supplements.
We realize some students were not able to finish their current curriculums
and are looking forward to possible Certification. We will honor all
requests/questions. Contact Natural Selections (mail@naturalselections.net)
for this.
Keep in mind, other very reputable schools exist. They can be found through
the ARCB (American Reflexology Certification Board) and RAA (Reflexology
Association of America) websites. Since those sites change domains from time to
time, please web search for the new addresses and contact them for local schools
in your area of residence, if you wish to continue.
As you know Jay is an ACARET and ARCB instructor. Although this decision to
cease instruction is a huge inconvenience for some, continuing this reflexology
school without a full time academic devotion to this profession, would not
"be prudent" for current or future students.
Thank you for your understanding. Thank you for the chance to educate you.
Good luck in your careers and Reflexology business.
Sincerely,
Jay P. Vanden Heuvel PhD ARCB ACARET/Tracy Vanden Heuvel CLNH
